A Taste of Wrigley’s® Doublemint Sugar Free Mint

I got one of this Doublemint because I thought it was a chewing gum. I was in a hurry so I don’t have time to read thoroughly. The popular Doublemint product are chewing gum, so I thought that this was a chewing gum too. I discovered that it is a mint candy when I got home.

The mint packaging is very elegant. A tin can with flip top cover. A fashionable way to carry candies. The whole can is covered with tamper poof plastic seal. The refreshing smell of mint is evident by just removing the seal. The flip top cover is tight, an extra force is needed to open it.

The package has approximately 35 candy mints. I bought it for 70 pesos so each mint cost 2 pesos. The price might be higher or lower. Lucky if the can has 37 mints.

The texture and mouthfeel resemble a medicine tablet. The mint capsule last in mouth for approximately 2 minutes. Has a very strong mint taste. A great way to freshen breath after a meal although it has no germicidal effect like liquid mouthwash.
