How to Make Spicy Dilis and Fish Balls
FISHBALL (street version)
Ingredients
1 tbsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. salt
1 kilo fish fillet (your choice of fish)
Procedure
1. Wash fish fillet & drain in sieve or colander.
2. Chop fish fillet finely or put in chopper/blender.
3. Mix with 1 tbsp. salt, add 1 tbsp baking powder & 3 tbsp constarch
4. Mix well so it will roll nicely into balls.
5.Take 1 tbsp fishball mixture & roll it into the palm of your hands until you form a lovely nice ball. Repeat. You can make 100 fishballs with this mixture.
6. Set fishballs aside. Boil water in a saucepan.
7. Drop fishballs into the boiling water.
8. Cooked fishballs float when they are done. collect the floaters to drain on sieve or colander.
9. Store in fridge or freezer.
